Knitting pattern – Sweater Svelge
Svelge was created for number 5 of Laine, a Nordic-inspired Finnish magazine.
This model mixes 2 different yarns: a rustic French wool and a soft mohair yarn. This amazing mix makes this sweater interesting to wear and knit.
This loose sweater is knitted from bottom to top and seamless. The body is knitted in the round at the armholes, then knitted back and forth.
The lace is knitted at the same time as the V-neckline.
Finally, the knits of the sleeves are raised and knitted in round until the wrists.

Sizes
XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL) for a final chest circumference of 100 (110, 120, 130, 140, 151.5) cm, the sweater going with 20 to 30 cm of positive fluency.
2 depths of neck are proposed.
Worn in size M, with the neckline depth F2.
Quantity of wool:
- About 970 (1070, 1260, 1400, 1550, 1720) m wire fingering.
- About 10 m of lace thread.
Knitting material:
- Circular needles no. 3.5, or the size to obtain the indicated sample
- Circular needles # 3, or 1/2 size smaller than the size to obtain the indicated sample
- 2 marker rings

24m and 33 rows = 10 cm stockinette st with 3.5 mm needles.
