Huiten is a loose sweater with a pretty lace stitch that dynamize the bottom of the sweater.

It is worked seamlessly from the top down. Some short rows are worked for the neck shaping. The sleeves stitches are placed on hold and the body is worked in the round. Then, the sleeves are worked in the round too.

Gauge: 22 sts and 29 rs = 4″x4″ (10 cm x 10 cm) in stockinette stitch and 3,5mm (US4) needles

Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL) [2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL]. Finished bust circumference: 37.5 (40.5, 44.75, 49.5, 54) [57, 61.5, 66, 70.5]”/ 95 (103, 114, 126, 137) [145, 156, 168, 179] cm.

Positive ease about 8-10″/20-25 cm.

Materials:

  • Nomad Noos, High Mountain Yak (100% yak, 290 yds/265 m. for 50g), 5 (5, 6, 6, 7) [8, 9, 9, 10] skeins, color Turn on the mountain lights, or about 1250 (1350, 1500, 1700, 1970) [2160, 2460, 2650, 2830] yds/1145 (1230, 1380, 1550, 1800) [1980, 2250, 2420, 2590] of yarn with same gauge.
  • 3,5mm (US4) needles or size to obtain gauge.
  • 3mm (US 2½) needles.
  • 1 marker.
  • 1 hook and and contrast yarn for provisional cast on
  • Waste yarn or needle to put on hold.
